How should I dress for an outdoor wedding?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place at 6:00pm outside on the lawn of the Chickawa Center overlooking the Saluda River. Weather in South Carolina for the month of April is typically mild, however it can be unpredictable as well. Please be sure to check weather temps for the day and plan accordingly, you may need a coat or wrap.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there are approximately 40 parking spaces in front of the Chickawa Center and additional parking will be on the shoulder of the road at the top of the hill where Southern Valet will be on hand to park cars for our guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For guests staying at the Wingate, shuttles will be provided to and from the venue. A detailed shuttle schedule will be given to hotel quests upon arrival and posted on our website. Keep checking as we get closer to the big day!
