Our Story
Nicole & Ryan’s story began in late July 2019, when a lucky swipe on Hinge turned into something unforgettable. Their first date was simple and sweet. They met in
Oyster Bay, grabbed Ralph’s Italian Ices, and headed to Teddy Roosevelt Park.
They talked and laughed with such an ease that it felt like fate. What started as a summer evening stroll quickly became the first chapter of a love story that would grow deeper with time.
Over the next 5 years, they'd go on dozens of trips and make countless memories.
Fast forward to March 2024, Ryan proposed to Nicole during sunset on the beach in Cabo (on the first night of their trip) because he simply could not wait one more day. The scene was very fitting because they bonded early on about their love of the beach and sunsets. Nicole's family was there to capture and share in the moment and it couldn't have been more perfect.
October 22nd, 2026 they will become "The Maiers"
Something they both knew was inevitable.
