We’re getting married!

Tyler and Maia were unknowingly neighbors for a few years until May 5th 2017. Maia joined Tyler’s street basketball game with his friend. Tyler and Maia immediately became best friends! Over the course of the summer the feelings grew stronger for each other, and the two of them fell head over heels in love and on July 15th 2017, Maia told Tyler she loved him for the first time. And before you know Tyler asked Maia to be his girlfriend on July 17th 2017. Throughout the past years Tyler and Maia have experienced many things together including trips throughout the country and even going out of the country for the first time together. Outside of traveling they have experienced 2 proms, celebrated 7 birthdays, graduated high school, adopted a dog, moved in together, celebrated 6 Christmases, bought a boat (sold a boat) bought another boat, and celebrated 7 years of loving each other endlessly. On Christmas of 2020, Tyler presented a promise ring to Maia with the promise of being married someday in the future. And before you knew it Tyler was down on one knee on January 26th 2023. After asking if he was serious three times, Maia excitedly said “Yes!”. The last 7 years have been just a glimpse of the happiness and love that the future holds between Maia and Tyler.
