The ceremony is more formal and in a church. The reception is outside on the grass. We suggest that gentleman wear a jacket and tie and can undo tie at the reception. Ladies, please stick to wedges or flats because the reception is on the grass under a large tent.
The church does not have a dedicated lot, but there is plenty of street parking. If you are at a hotel in town, we recommend that you walk.
Yes, in a pasture. We are looking into a shuttle from town to the farm and back which is about 12 minutes.
Yes, but not a ton of drivers.
In Carlisle PA we have flies during the day, but evening is just for lightening bugs and they don’t bite. We will be spraying the grass where the tent is set up and will have bug spray. Bugs are never really an issue for us.
Harrisburg is the closest and it’s a 30 minute drive. We use all the WAS airports and philadelphia which are all two hours away. There is an Amtrak station in Harrisburg that serves New York and Philadelphia.
The church will open at 330. Please try to arrive at 3:45pm.
