“ We’re Getting Married “

Our story began on February 26, 2009, when Eli and I met at a social lounge in Washington Heights. As the night was winding down, I kept catching him looking at me… and eventually he made his move by grabbing my arm and asking me to dance Bachata (lol). I pulled away, playing a little hard to get (lol), but we ended up exchanging numbers through mutual friends. From the very beginning, there was a sense of comfort between us. I appreciated how supportive he was, and how easy it felt to just be myself around him. We both came into the relationship with daughters from previous relationships, and over time, we welcomed three sons together—blending our families into one big, beautiful crew. On March 8, 2009, we officially became a couple, and since then we’ve been on this journey together, choosing each other through every season. Getting married was always something I knew would happen one day, but with life, timing, and multiple kids, it just wasn’t the right moment—until now. After juggling so much and growing together along the way, here we are, planning our wedding exactly how we always imagined it: with patience, love, and perfect timing.
