Areas to avoid in Columbus

Hi y’all! So excited for you to be here in Georgia with us! Just concerning your safety, please do not stop anywhere on Victory Dr (including gas stations). Victory Dr is near our venue. Also avoid areas off of the exits of 1, 2, 3, &4 off of I-85. I know this sounds weird, but these areas can get sketchy fast and I want you all to be safe! Our venue is perfectly safe (right off of Ft. Benning) but the surrounding area is the older run down part of town. Downtown and the north end of town are good!

Whether hotel or Airbnb, we highly recommend to stay in the north end of town, this area is referred to as North Columbus, GA or Midtown Columbus, GA. South Columbus (near Ft. Benning) is a bit run down and not as safe.

This hotel is directly next to our wedding venue! No need to uber or drive to the venue, it is a short and safe walk. You would need transportation to go elsewhere, such as downtown. Outside the hotel and venue, the area isn't nice and I wouldn't recommend walking around the neighborhood. Right now there is a block for 5 standard double queen rooms for 10/10/19-10/13/19 and 10 standard double queen rooms for 10/11/19-10/13/19. Rooms will be released 09/18/19.
