Accommodations: We have also booked a hotel block at the Westin Pittsburgh (1000 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) for $159/night for May 7th and 8th. Self-parking is $23/night. Book by April 9th. Call (412) 281-3700 . Reservations for our old date have been automatically moved to our new date.
We do not recommend staying near the airport or the outlying burrows of Pittsburgh. Traffic can be unpredictable and driving can be stressful here.
You may also wish to rent an AirBnB in the Strip District, Lawrenceville, or Southside. These neighborhoods have plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants.
Flights: We recommend flying into Pittsburgh International Airport. From there, you can take the 28x bus for $2.75/passenger/way. Schedule is here: https://www.portauthority.org/pdfs/28X.pdf
Otherwise you may choose to take a ride share (Lyft or Uber) or Taxi, which are typically $35-50 into town.
