Our Story

#ForeverIntoFelton #PleadTheeFIF

Some love stories begin with intention. Ours began with surrender. Before Mahogany ever entered the picture, Davon had made peace with the idea that he would not get married again. He was focused on purpose, growth, and fully walking in what God had called him to do. At the same time, Mahogany was deeply rooted in her own journey—committed to ministry and in a serious relationship that was moving toward marriage. When they met in 2025 through a ministers class, there was no thought of romance. No curiosity. No hidden agenda. Just two people aligned in faith, leadership, and purpose. What started as simple conversation grew into a genuine and consistent friendship. They talked about life, ministry, and purpose, and it all felt easy and natural. Even when others began to notice their connection, they remained completely unaware—seeing each other only as brother and sister in Christ. But life began to shift. Through God’s leading, Mahogany made the difficult but necessary decision to walk away from her engagement. During that time, Davon remained a true friend—supportive, present, and consistent, without expectation. He showed up with care, integrity, and wisdom. And somewhere in that space, something changed. What once felt like friendship began to feel different. The connection, the consistency, and the care between them could no longer be defined the same way. What they thought was simply showing up for each other was actually a foundation being built. They didn’t rush. They prayed, sought wise counsel, and allowed clarity and healing to guide them. And in time, it became undeniable. What they never planned Became exactly what they needed. Their friendship blossomed into a relationship, and on September 13, they made it official. Then on November 29, just one day before Davon’s birthday, he asked Mahogany to marry him—turning his best friend into his fiancée. And now, here they are. Two people who started with no intention, who became best friends, who followed God every step of the way— Becoming one. June 11, 2026
