Where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the Carlsbad Windmill located at 890 Palomar Airport Rd, Carlsbad, CA 92011. The wedding ceremony will be held in their indoor chapel, and the reception will be upstairs.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?
Answer
The ceremony will be at 4:30 pm. Please plan accordingly and arrive on time, as doors will be locked once the ceremony begins. The reception will begin at 6:30 pm.

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held indoors!

What should I expect after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the couple & immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures on the beach for about an hour. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour just outside the chapel, where snacks and drinks will flow. The reception will begin around 6:30 pm. Dinner will be served around 7:00 pm

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?
Answer
We will not be providing any formal transportation for the event, but our ceremony and reception will take place in the same area. There is ample parking for those who feel comfortable driving. There is no parking fee.

We kindly ask you RSVP before March 16, 2025.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We are at capacity with our venue, so we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes! The Carlsbad Windmill is wheelchair accessible and equipped with an elevator.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
We love photos! We encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag, #newmayerintown so we can see them, too!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
