Travel Note
Luckily NYC has so many options! Some areas we suggest to look depending on how you would like to visit NYC: -Here for a full NYC trip: 1. Midtown Manhattan (The Tourist Hub) Best for: Being in the center of the action. You are within walking distance of Broadway, MoMA, and the Empire State Building. You will have the easiest time navigating to major transit hubs like Penn Station and Grand Central. Vibe: Bustling, loud, and very touristy. 2. NoMad & Chelsea (The "Locals' Choice") Best for: Staying close to tourist attractions while enjoying a more authentic, upscale New York neighborhood. You are steps away from the High Line, Chelsea Market, and Madison Square Park. Vibe: Trendy, walkable, and filled with great dining. 3. Lower Manhattan / Financial District (FiDi) Best for: Value, peace, and history. It is situated right by the 9/11 Museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, and ferries to the Statue of Liberty. Vibe: Quieter at night, surrounded by skyscrapers and nostalgic architecture. 4. Greenwich Village & SoHo (The Neighborhood Feel) Best for: Exploring vintage shops, jazz clubs, and incredible boutique restaurants. Vibe: Charming, tree-lined, and deeply "New York." - Just here for the wedding and us! 1) Venue is in Flushing but hotels may be marked up due to nearby US Open 2) Hotels near LGA airport will give you quick access to both venues and the airport for getting in and out of NYC 3) Long Island City (LIC) will still be in Queens and not too far from venues and give you a chance to explore our neighborhood ( reach out for any recommendations!)
