Travel Note
1. If you are flying in to Mumbai directly from an international location, that's where they'll do your customs and immigration. Expect long queues. 2. You will need a visa (if you aren't an Indian citizen) to get in to India. It's a relatively easy process, make sure you don't forget about it. https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
Travel Note
1) Carry a travel adapter for your chargers. Indian plugs are different from the US ones. 2) Indian electricity grids work on different voltages and frequencies (220v). Electrical appliances such as electric toothbrushes, or hair dryers, or irons will not work in India. 3) Check with your doctors about travel medications. You might need to carry something for stomach illnesses. 4) Use the Zomato app if you need recommendations on where to eat. Yelp doesn't do a great job in India. 5) Uber eats and Swiggy are food delivery options available to you. 6) Uber, Ola, Auto-rikshaw, local cabs, local trains would be your way to get around Mumbai (carry a lot of cash, all of these transportation modes support cash transactions, the latter three are cash only)
Hotel
This is one of the hotels closer to the wedding venue and is one of the good options if you are looking for an accommodation through the wedding. We would recommend looking for a hotel in Powai area of Mumbai.
Train
Bhandup Station is the closest Mumbai local train station to the venue. It is 2 Kms from the destination and is 5-10 mins drive.
