Yes! It's a good idea to have pesos on you at all times. It's best to exchange dollars at your departure airport or before you plan to travel. Otherwise, stop at the ATM at the Chedruai (the big grocery store on the way into Tulum) or the HSBC in the pueblo. **Don't rely on ATMs throughout the zona hotelera** DONT RELY ON ATMS IN THE HOTEL BEACH ZONE. Taxis only take cash. Most restaurants will accept cards.

You definitely shouldn't drink the tap water in Mexico. Make sure you always drink filtered water. Bring a reusable water bottle to reduce waste

How to get get there?

Fly into Cancun. Shuttle to Tulum Book a shuttle directly through Happy shuttle or Carm Tours and Transfers. https://www.cancunandrivieramaya.com It’s smart to pre buy waters through the shuttle service so they are in the car waiting to you! The shuttle ride is about 75 minutes.

Wedding events are on Sunday March 29 and Monday March 30th. We reccomend arriving by Saturday March 28. most guest are staying 4 nights! We reccomend 4 , or more :)

What to do on Saturday night

Settle in and book a dinner reservation in advance to avoid a wait. Thomas and I will be having sunset drinks at Azulik on Saturday around 6PM. Feel free to meet us at the treetop bar if you want!

Where is the welcome party?

Answer

The Welcome party is at Zorba beach homes. most will be able to walk on the beach or you can take a short taxi ride. We will have a flag on the beach so you can find us easily. There is green beach bag chairs on the beach in front of the villas. The party will be outside! Dress code is casual beach cocktail. We will be serving drinks and food. We will wrap things up around 8pm so you still have the night free if you want to enjoy Tulum’s night life.
