Yes! It's a good idea to have pesos on you at all times. It's best to exchange dollars at your departure airport or before you plan to travel. Otherwise, stop at the ATM at the Chedruai (the big grocery store on the way into Tulum) or the HSBC in the pueblo. **Don't rely on ATMs throughout the zona hotelera** DONT RELY ON ATMS IN THE HOTEL BEACH ZONE. Taxis only take cash. Most restaurants will accept cards.

The Welcome party is at Zorba beach homes. most will be able to walk on the beach or you can take a short taxi ride. We will have a flag on the beach so you can find us easily. There is green beach bag chairs on the beach in front of the villas. The party will be outside! Dress code is casual beach cocktail. We will be serving drinks and food. We will wrap things up around 8pm so you still have the night free if you want to enjoy Tulum’s night life.
