Frequently Asked Questions

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones- we really do! But our celebration will be Adults-Only. We hope you will choose to attend and use our big day as a night-off to celebrate love!

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP through our website by May 4, 2022 for all guests.

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have two hotel blocks at local hotels around Burlington. We recommend also exploring hotels, Airbnb's, and VRBO's in the Lake Geneva, Waterford, or Burlington areas. Information about the blocks can be found in the Accommodations Tab of our website.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invite says, "And Guest" then yes! When you register you will see the people and number of seats we have reserved for you.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Please plan to arrive early to head down to the river bank and settle in to your seats!

Question

Can I use my phone and post on social media?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us and keep your technology put away until after the ceremony. We would prefer for our amazing photographer captures your smiling faces in our pictures instead of your phones. You are more than welcome to take as many pictures and videos as you wish after the ceremony throughout the evening. If you share them on social media, we ask that you tag them with our hashtag #MeetTheMahers so we can see our day through your eyes!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please contact Jeanette or Kevin as soon as possible so we can notify our caterer.
