Looking to network for her future software engineering career, Maheen joined a virtual networking event through DePaul and met Murtaza. One bad joke later and they could not put the phone down, and eventually decided to meet in negative 30 degree weather for a quick meal. 6 hours later and no food eaten, they realized they would be inseparable... On a warm spring day, at the historical building of Lord's Pavillion in Elgin, Murtaza and Maheen became engaged in front of their loved ones right after the blessed month of Ramadan.
