Totally not biased at all... but for a really ono (delicious) breakfast, head over to Mahealani's uncle's restaurant. If you like sweet, try the Lilikoi Pancakes. If you want a local dish, try the Loco Moco with fried rice and over-easy egg. The freshly baked muffins can't be beat! Also, a half a papaya is always a good idea! Note: Closed on Tuesdays!
Ono Hawaiian Food. Feeling adventurous try the Squid lū'au (a traditional Native Hawaiian cuisine food and part of modern fusion cuisine of Hawaii. It is made with squid, taro leaves, coconut milk, garlic, water, and Hawaiian salt) or Poi! Not so adventurous, stick with the Pipikaula Ribs or Kualoa Pork. Please note it's a cash only restaurant. Only open Tues - Fri 10 - 7:30pm
The Ceremony and Reception will be held at Kualoa. However, it is not just a wedding venue. Check out the many activities the active ranch has to offer! From ATV and Horseback rides to touring the famous locations used in films and television shows (e.g., Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, Lost, etc.)
The USS Arizona Memorial is currently closed. Visitor access to the memorial was suspended in May 2018 due to movement of the loading dock and corresponding movement of the loading ramp to the memorial, which posed a safety concern for our visitors. Repairs are expected to be completed by March 2019. In lieu of USS Arizona Memorial programs, visitors will be taken on a 30-minute narrated harbor tour of Battleship Row and the area around the USS Arizona Memorial. Tickets are still required. Visitors can get walk-in tickets at the visitor center on a first come, first served basis, or reserve tickets online at www.recreation.gov. The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, museums, and bookstore are still open as usual from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, seven days a week. *Will update when tours of the Arizona resume.
