Driving to Cinque Terre is not recommended - no parking. Most visitors park in Monterosso. If you're only visiting Monterosso, you don't need a train ticket - just park and walk around. If you want to hop between villages, purchase tickets at the train station (make sure to validate your ticket before getting on the train).

A food-lover’s paradise in Emilia – Romagna, famous for Parmigiano Reggiano and Parma ham. (2 hour drive) Visit a cheese factory or ham producer for a wine tasting tour. Stroll through the historic center and Parma Cathedral. Stop at a traditional trattoria (Italian restaurant) for a leisurely lunch.
