Madrona Marsh Preserve
A beautiful reserve to see wildlife you otherwise wouldn't in a big city. Patrick saw a live raven for the first time here! There is a small museum of Torrance wildlife right across the street with bird baths and feeders outside usually surrounded by local birds.
Del Amo Fashion Center
We went here on our first date! We got boba and went to the Barnes and Noble where Patrick fully realized Maha's knowledge of Disneyland trivia. There is a movie theatre, plenty of shops, restaurants, its the sixth largest shopping mall in the US. Maha spent many hours here as a teen, loitering and being a menace.
Redondo Beach Pier
Patrick touched the Pacific Ocean for the first time here! There are lots of shops and restaurants and the sunsets here are amazing. A perfect place to grab an ice cream or cool drink and walk around just enjoying the view.
The Grain Cafe - Redondo Beach
Maha's favorite restaurant! A completely vegan place with almost every single dish having a gluten free option. Their Mexican dishes are authentic and comforting, while their breakfast options are sweet and delicious. Must tries are their green tea cake, pollo crepe, and maca latte.
