Stockholm is quite a multicultural city and you will find great places to eat with foods from around the world. Some favorites are Jebena (Ethiopian), Tabbouli (Middle-Eastern), Tres Taco Joint (Mexican), Eatnam (Vietnamese), or try Shanti (Indian). If you’d like a nice place to walk around and choose from, Nytorget in the area of Södermalm (South-central Stockholm) is a great place for strolling with different restaurants all around. Swedes are known for their love of seafood and fish (Majid’s favorite is the shrimp salad called ‘skagenröra’), and for the meat lovers, try the Swedish meatballs! Here’s some favorite spots we recommend: Stockholms Gästabud: Found near the royal castle in the old city in central Stockholm, known for their meatballs and other traditional Swedish foods. Another delicious option is their cold-smoked salmon! Hötorgshallen: A food market with a large variety of delis and restaurants, of both local and international cuisines.
