Mesilla is a super charming little town just 10 minutes from downtown LC with great food, local shops, and a historic plaza.

Rocky incline hike but a great view at the top!
White Sands National Park
About an hour drive from Las Cruces, but totally worth it! We recommend going at sunset for the best vibes. You can hike (early in the morning since it gets hot!) or you can grab a picnic blanket, bottle of wine, and watch the sun go down on a sand dune.
