Our story began on a dating app in the summer of 2024. After spending a few weeks getting to know each other through text messages, Magotta asked me out on our first date. On August 31, 2024, he took me to a local Mexican restaurant for tacos and then to see a movie. From the moment we met, there was an undeniable connection. Conversation came naturally, laughter was effortless, and we both left that first date knowing we had met someone special. We officially began dating in November 2024, but little did we know that God was writing a much bigger story than either of us could imagine. In December 2024, we decided we wanted something different. Together, we began reading the Bible and became increasingly curious about who God is and what it means to follow Him. Shortly after, we started attending church and learning more about Christ. As our knowledge of God grew, so did our desire to live according to His will. In May 2025, we made the difficult decision to take a break from dating. During three months of no contact, God worked powerfully in both of our lives. We each grew deeper in our personal relationships with Him, surrendered our lives to Christ, and committed ourselves to following Him. On August 30, 2025, after three months apart, God brought us back together. Our relationship felt completely different—new, refined, and centered on Him. We felt that God had reunited us for a purpose, marriage. Then, on April 25, 2026, surrounded by the beauty of Hanging Rock, Magotta asked me to spend forever with him, and I joyfully said yes. Now, on August 1, 2026, we will stand before God, our family, and our friends to make a covenant together as husband and wife. We are incredibly grateful and cannot wait to celebrate this special day with all of you.
