MAGO Family Wedding

Mike and Amirah matched on Hinge on 5/12/2023. Amirah had been on a multi-year, tumultuous online dating journey (ask her for stories), but Mike had just joined for the first time (lucky, huh?). Amirah, in her forward fashion, suggested a phone call on 5/15. Mike called Amirah, and they talked until Mike almost missed his meeting. Mike was bummed and suggested another call soon. Amirah was smitten and continued on in her forward tendencies and suggested a date. Mike and Amirah met in the West End that evening. Although they were both nervous, a sense of excitement and comfort took the place of their nerves when they met and shared a hug. At the end of the night, Mike suggested dancing to music to garner connection, which Amirah later learned was Mike going completely out on a limb to make an impact. An impact was surely made, as the year that followed allowed Amirah to become a pivotal member of Mike, Gabriela, and Oliver's lives. Year 1 was a year of transformation. Year 2 is a year of creating the stabilization/foundation of the rest of their lives with a new home, wedding, and memories galore!
