This page contains essential information to help you plan your travel and accommodations. As our save-the-dates go out, we wanted to provide you with key details regarding flights, the resort, and what you'll need to prepare for your trip. We'll be updating the website with more information about the wedding events and other details closer to the date, so be sure to check back for the latest!

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

To get an idea of headcount, we are kindly asking our guests to register their rooms by September 1st, 2025 with final room payment by December 1st, 2025. A formal invitation will come in the Fall/Winter of 2025/2026.

What dates should I reserve for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is on Saturday, May 2nd. The resort has a 3-night minimum, so consider joining us from Friday - Monday (5/1 - 5/4) or Thursday - Sunday (4/30 - 5/3). We have the room block reserved from Wednesday, April 29th to Wednesday, May 6th. We will be on the resort for the entire week and we'd be absolutely thrilled if you could join us for any part of our adventure!

What is a room registration? When do I need to book my room?

Answer

Room registration holds the room you plan to book, ensuring the room you desire is available. A one-time, nonrefundable payment of $150/person is due by 9/1/2025 and will go towards your final booking/payment. Final payment and booking is due 12/1/2025. Failure to make final payment on your room may result in loss of your registration fee and reservation. Please note that you can make reservation changes after the registration date.

How do I book my hotel room for the wedding?

Answer

We've arranged special group rates for our guests through our dedicated agent at Liberty Travel. To book your room, please visit the following website: https://groups.libertytravel.com/TheMagiltonFickWedding. You'll need to create a new account to login and register to book your room.

Question

How do I select my room and dates on the Liberty Website?

Answer

Once you've logged in to the Liberty Travel Website, click on "Book Now" to choose your room type, occupancy (number of adults/children), and the dates you'd like to stay. Please note that the initial pricing shown is for 2 adults for the entire length of our reserved block. You can adjust the occupancy and dates by clicking on the highlighted yellow areas on the website. Can I make changes after I register my room?

Answer

Absolutely! The registration date is important for letting us get an idea of the headcount. After registering, you can make updates to your length of stay, room type, and guests by reaching out directly to Liberty Travel.

The room I wanted to book is not available. Are there any other options for booking?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ve arranged a set number of rooms per room style, however, if the one you’re looking for is sold out, just reach out to Liberty Travel customer service and they can add the room you want to our block at no additional cost.

How can I see my booking details?

Answer

After logging in, you'll be taken to your "Groups Summary Page," which provides an overview of all your bookings. You can also view the entire group manifest at any time by clicking on our group number: #256664.

What if I need more time to pay for my trip?

Answer

Liberty Travel offers a flexible payment plan through Affirm. You can find more details and a link to this option on the website and in your booking confirmation/invoice.

Am I able to bring a plus one?

Answer

The invited guests for our wedding celebration are listed on your save-the-date mailing. If you received a "Guest" along with your name, that indicates an additional plus one has been included in your invitation. We kindly ask that you RSVP for the names specified on your invitation.

Are children welcome at the wedding/resort?

Answer

We love your children! However, our wedding celebration will be held at the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, which is an adults-only resort. We kindly request that only adult guests attend. Thank you for your understanding.

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! All guests traveling to Mexico for our wedding will need a valid passport. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from Mexico. For our event travels, you will need a passport valid until at least December, 2026. We recommend checking your passport expiration date as soon as possible to allow ample time for renewal if necessary.

Which airport to fly into?

Answer

You'll need to fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN). From there, the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya is approximately a 25-minute drive. Please be aware that Cancun's airport is known for sometimes having long lines at customs and immigration, so we recommend being prepared for a potential wait upon arrival.

Does the hotel reservation include airport transportation?

Answer

The hotel reservation does not include airport transfers, however, all reservations will include a $38/pp additional cost for airport transfers. If you’d like to remove this, please reach out to Liberty Travel directly.

I'm having trouble navigating the Liberty Travel Booking website on my phone. Any tips?

Answer

For the best experience, we recommend using a computer to book your accommodations. If you are using a smartphone, you may need to turn your phone sideways to see all the tabs at the top of the page.

Answer

The Liberty Travel support team is available to assist you with any questions you may have, including registrations, flight bookings, travel protection, and reservation changes. Please reach out to them directly by emailing customercare@libertytravel.com. You can also call them at 215 323 6242, option 1. This will ensure you receive the fastest and most efficient support.

What is an All-Inclusive Resort?

Answer

An all-inclusive resort means that the upfront cost of your stay covers a wide range of amenities. Your room cost includes your room, all meals and drinks, and various activities and entertainment offered by the resort. This allows you to enjoy a hassle-free experience where many of your needs are taken care of without constant extra charges. It's designed for relaxation and convenience, letting you focus on celebrating with us!
