Our original wedding date was planned for June 5, 2020. By March 2020, we knew a large gathering was no longer in the books. We made the decision to say our vows and exchange rings in our front yard in front of family and friends who were able to travel. The ceremony was the ray of light we desperately needed in the midst of a very difficult year. Many of our family and friends were unable to be present in 2020 though, so a celebration will be held June 4th, 2021 at our original wedding venue. We hope if you were present at the house ceremony, you're able to come and celebrate again with us. If you were unable to make the original ceremony, we can't wait to see you and finally raise a toast together.

Sarah & her sister Hannah were out in downtown Omaha one fateful night. As the bars started to close, Sarah called for an Uber home. Ben was working as a driver at the time and as luck would have it, he picked them up. Sarah and Ben talked and laughed the entire ride home. Moments before Ben dropped them off, Hannah tipsily leaned forward from the back seat and said, "You two are going to fall in love". And they did.
