What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/dressy-casual attire. Imagine something you’d wear to a nice dinner on vacation (I don’t know how to describe this please be kind to me).

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all indoors! There is a lawn outside where yard games will be set up for your pleasure during the cocktail hour/reception. There are also a couple of absolutely gorgeous murals outside for unique photo ops!

What time may I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the ceremony space will open at 4:30 PM with the ceremony set to begin at 5:00 PM.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Respectfully, why? Just kidding. But seriously, we have selected a photographer who will get all of our requested shots for you to share when we share those out. Please do come get a photo with us at our reception and take all the pictures you want of us partying after we’ve said I do! We do ask you to refrain from posting photos taken at the reception until we have done so ourselves.

Are the ceremony and reception being held at separate locations?

Answer

Nope, the ceremony and reception are technically in 2 separate buildings but they are literally right next door to each other with separate entrances with a parking lot on-site. The address is pasted here: 2033 S Meridian St Indianapolis, IN 46225 United States

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be having a cash bar at our reception in which guests will purchase their own alcohol at the bar. Beer ($6/ea), wine ($6/ea) and cocktails ($7/ea) will be available for purchase.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

NO. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the venue as this puts them at risk for fines of up to $10,000 and the risk of losing their liquor license permanently. Ivory Foundry has been absolutely WONDERFUL to work with so please be mindful in how you are representing us as a couple.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We have selected a buffet menu of “his and her favorites.” This will include Asian chicken skewers (his) and a charcuterie board bar (hers) for appetizers, salmon (his) and chicken (hers) with a variety of sides for dinner, and white cupcakes with white icing for dessert (hers).

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are not. We have lived together for a long time in a very small apartment and do not have room for more things. A gift is not expected. If you would like to congratulate us with a gift, we would be so grateful for monetary gifts to put towards saving for our future together.
