Channel Islands National Park is a beautiful day-trip adventure about an hour and a half away. You’ll need ferry tickets to reach the islands, but once there, you can enjoy amazing kayaking, scenic hikes, and ocean views. Overnight camping is available if you want to make a weekend of it!

Catalina Island – Just a ferry ride from Long Beach or Dana Point, Catalina is perfect for a day (or overnight) escape. Snorkel, kayak, hike, or just enjoy the charm of this beautiful island getaway.
