7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
To welcome our friends and family into town, we will be hosting a welcome event the night before our wedding. Indian wedding tradition calls for a mehndi (henna) ceremony to be held before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage. Please join us for our welcome event, where there will be light bites on the beach, fire pits and henna artists! All are welcome!
5:00 pm
Semi-Formal and Indian Attire
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Feel free to arrive as early as 4:30pm. We will be starting on time and late entry to the ceremony area may not be possible.
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
We are offering chicken, salmon or a vegetarian thali as the meal choices for dinner during the reception. Please make your selection when you RSVP! For those who do not know, a thali is a large, round plate used to serve a balanced meal that includes a variety of dishes with different flavors, textures, and nutrients - almost like a sampler! The thali has deep roots in Indian culture and history, and is an integral part of everyday eating, festivals, and celebrations, like weddings!
