Deschutes Brewery Tour
Book a Bend Brewery tour at the first craft brewery in Bend! Within walking distance to the Springhill Hotel. I recommend the specialty tours: R&D brewhouse and barrel-aging warehouse. The tour is more intimate and you see more. But all options are great!
Old Mill District
Great restaurants, shopping and there is a great trail to walk along the river.
Zydeco Kitchen & Cocktails
Great dinner place! Cocktails are good too! Mark and I went here on our one year anniversary and the night we got engaged.
Drake Park/Downtown Bend
Walk around drake park with a coffee from Looney Bean. Then shop around downtown Bend. There are great shops and restaurants. Mark proposed to Maggie in the park near the bridge.
Chow
BEST BRUNCH! They grow most of their veggies. Mark's favorite is the huevos and Maggie loves the veggie benedict. They have great drinks too!
Sparks Lake
Beautiful lake near Bend. Walk around the lake or just go for a picnic. Green Lakes Trail is also a great hiking trail (8 miles) if you want some exercise!
Elk Lake Resort
Another favorite lake. Great for paddle boarding. The lodge has great food too! There is a flat hike around the lake too if you want some exercise!
Float the Deschutes
Float the river! Close to the hotel and can float the river in about 2 hours. Great pre-wedding activity.... just don't miss the bus! And watch out for the rapids! We plan on floating the river Thursday morning for all that are interested!
Crux Fermentation Project
Great view of the mountains, yard games and beer! Stop here for lunch, dinner or just a drink!
