Wedding Party

We are happy to introduce the people we share stories, jokes, and the more than occasional alcoholic beverage with. Some of these people are funnier than us, but they have been instructed to keep it PG so we can keep up.

Daniel Neyer

Officiant

Daniel Neyer has agreed to be the officiant for Maggie and Ryan's wedding, seeing as the role of the best man didn't have enough speaking lines. Dan and Ryan's love story started long before the happy couple's, who are very grateful to have him not only as an officiant (which will surely have everyone in tears from both laughter and feels) but also as one of their best friends.

Kate Everson

Groomswoman

Kate and Ryan met in college through mutual friend groups. They would soon grow to be friends and bond over trips to the piano bar and Oscar parties. They like to discuss the finer arts in life such as Dr. Who and Westworld. Ryan appreciates that she always has a bit of wit to respond with when he complains about politics or loudly-whistling coworkers. Maggie appreciates that Ryan has another English-focused person to ask "Should I use a semicolon here?" (the answer is usually no). Kate will be joining us from Chicago.

Zach Geear

Groomsman

Zach and Ryan met at Mizzou in the dorms. While it took a semester or two to convince him, he eventually shared an apartment with Ryan and Dan where much hell was raised- between studying, of course. After years of bars, football games, and vacations to Colorado, Ryan is happy to call him a friend (even though he's a Cardinals fan).

Jacob Harris

Best Man

Jacob was one of Ryan's earliest friends when the Keelers first moved to the Kansas City area. They quickly bonded over video games and music. It didn't take long for him to become a de facto part of the Keeler family. The Keeler household doors (including the pantry doors) will always be open to him.

Logan Keeler

Groomsman

Logan once said to Ryan "You're like a brother to me". While that is technically true, seeing as they are in fact brothers, it describes how close they have always been. Moving around to over 10 different cities while growing up can be tough, but Ryan always had Logan around as his partner in crime wherever they went. Logan is joining us from the University of Nebraska where he is starting his Doctoral program (he's the smart one).

Amit Parmar

Groomsman

Amit and Ryan met in middle school back when they were both smaller and nerdier (yes, nerdier). They could often be found throughout the neighborhood playing basketball in a driveway or football in a field. After spending time goofing around (and practicing every now and then) on swim team with Ryan in highschool, Amit went on to join the Navy and will be joining us from Seattle.

Amber Beck

Maid of Honor

Amber Beck has, and always will be, one of Maggie's horcruxes. She has held a piece of Maggie's soul since the 4th grade when she made up the coolest game of dragons and unicorns ever seen on a playground. Somehow that game ended in a group of fourth graders rubbing ground up rock onto their faces; however, unlike the rock dust their friendship has lasted.

Nathan Christianson

Man of Honor

Nate Christianson came into Maggie's life sporting a cowlick mohawk and an irritatingly good drawing ability. After she got over her jealousy of his drawing skills, Maggie realized his cutting sense of humor and witty comebacks were quite entertaining and for some odd reason Nate went along with it. The rest, as they say, is her-story.

Andrea Munford

Bridesmaid

Maggie's littlest sister may not talk as much as her, but they share a love of art, music, and bad television. Andrea will be joining us from Iowa State, where she is attending her first semester of college!

Meridee Munford

Bridesmaid

Meridee Hope will join us from Boston where she works and enjoys the fairy tale life of an east coast lady complete with Italian shop owners calling her "Bella" and monthly street cleanings where no parking can be found. While growing up, Maggie would often tattle on Meridee for smugly smiling at her (sisterly love at it's finest) but this time around it is sure be welcome!

Umiko Samuel

Bridesmaid

Umiko and Maggie met on the job at Sabates. Umiko quickly won over Maggie with her bossy, no nonsense attitude and her taste for dark humor. Also, she always had napkins on hand.
