When should I rsvp by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the attire is cocktail. We suggest gentlemen wear a suit or blazer with dress pants and ladies, a cocktail or maxi dress or dressy separates.

Where is the reception located?

Answer

Our reception is an outdoor, tented event on a grass lawn. Something good to keep in mind when considering what to wear!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The reception beings at 6 p.m. If you're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island Marina, the Hyatt Place Kent Narrows, or the Best Western Kent Narrows Inn, and taking the shuttle service, please be arrive outside of your hotel at 5:45 p.m. There will be signage indicting shuttle pick-up locations at each hotel.

Can I bring a date?

We can not accommodate additional guests and are hoping to keep our wedding amongst family and friends. Invitations are extended to the names exclusively listed in your party. When you RSVP online, the names of your invited party will appear under your name.

Our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements in advance!

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

No, there will be no ceremony portion of our wedding on Saturday, May 30. We are having a private ceremony the day prior.

Where should I book my hotel?

Answer

We recommend booking at the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island Marina, the Hyatt Place Kent Narrows, or the Best Western Kent Narrows Inn to take advantage of the shuttle service. Ubers and cabs are very scarce on Kent Island, so we suggest booking in close proximity to venue and afterparty!

Will there be transportation available?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle running from the Hilton Garden Inn Kent Island Marina, the Hyatt Place Kent Narrows, and the Best Western Kent Narrows Inn. All options are located within a 5 minute drive to the Kent Island Yacht Club. Shuttle service will start at 5:45 p.m. and be available throughout the evening to return guests to hotels.

Is there parking available at the venue?

For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking.
