Happily Ever Agnone

Our paths had been crossing for years through mutual friends, but it was at the annual river Halloween party that we actually met. Vince, dressed as a dinosaur/ wolf combo, started chatting up a woman in a smurf costume. He'll tell you it was my blue freckles that drew him in. At the end of the night is when Vince delivered one of his most famous lines. "My mom is on her way to pick me up, but I was hoping I could get your number before I leave." I never thought giving my number to a 30-year-old man in a dinosaur onesie who's mom was picking him up from a party would be one of the best decisions I made, but here we are! Getting married almost exactly four years to the day after our first meeting.

Vince knew he wanted the proposal to be a complete surprise, so what better time to ask than on a run of the mill Monday evening! After having a happy hour dinner, Vince asked Maggie to go for a walk. To which Maggie said no! But to be fair, it was mid July humidity and slightly drizzling. With some convincing, Maggie agreed to a walk up the capital stairs and it was there that Vince asked the most important question with the most beautiful ring!
