What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. If you are not taking the shuttle, please plan to arrive by 4:30 pm to be seated in time for the ceremony.

Will transportation be provided to & from the hotels?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle buses will take guests from downtown Portland to the ceremony and back after the reception. Please be ready to board the shuttle five to ten minutes before departure time.

Friday, June 12 After welcome drinks, a shuttle will be available for guests staying at Black Point Inn (BPI). Shuttle Schedule 9:45 PM: Shuttle leaves from Camp Pennant in Portland to BPI 10:30 PM: Shuttle leaves from Camp Pennant in Portland to BPI Saturday, June 13 First Pick-Up 2:55 PM: Shuttle leaves from the Westin Portland Harborview to Holiday Inn Portland - By The Bay (if bus is not full) 3:05 PM: Shuttle leaves from Portland-based hotels to Black Point Inn Second Pick-Up 4:05 PM: Shuttle leaves from the Westin Portland Harborview to Holiday Inn Portland - By The Bay 4:15 PM: Shuttle leaves Holiday Inn Portland-By The Bay to Black Point Inn Drop-Off 10:00 PM: Shuttle leaves Black Point Inn to drop guests off at both the Westin Portland Harborview and the Holiday Inn Portland - By The Bay 11:15 PM: Shuttle leaves Black Point Inn to drop guests off at both the Westin Portland Harborview and the Holiday Inn Portland - By The Bay

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

For those driving, yes, on-site parking is available at Black Point Inn. Please adhere to the very strict 25mph speed limit on Black Point Road.

Can I bring a plus one?

Our wedding is an RSVP only event. Please refer to your invite for the number of seats we have reserved in your honor.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be black tie optional. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tux or suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length dress or a formal midi dress. Being mindful that the ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn, weather permitting, please make comfortable shoe choices. Maine can also be cooler this time of year, so we recommend bringing a long-sleeved layer for the ceremony and cocktail hour. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
