Maroon Bells
Take the shuttle up to the Maroon Bells for one of the best views in all of Colorado. From Maroon Lake there are plenty of hiking options for those looking to work up a sweat. Please note you cannot drive up to the Maroon Bells and must take the shuttle that leaves from the Aspen Highlands parking garage. I strongly recommend making a shuttle reservation in advanced as the shuttle sells out quickly.
Independence Pass
Take a drive along the famous Independence Pass for amazing views.
Ashcroft Ghost Town
Take a drive up to Ashcroft to see the abandoned ghost town. While there you can get immersed in the aspens groves along the Cathedral Lakes or American Lakes trail. Grab lunch at the Pine Creek Cookhouse.
Grottos Trail
A great hiking area off of independence pass that offers views of waterfalls and caves.
Snowmass Bike Park
Looking for an adrenaline rush? Then challenge yourself on the 25 miles of purpose-built, diverse trails—the Snowmass Bike Park extends almost 3,000 vertical feet from the top of the Elk Camp Chairlift down to Snowmass Base Village.
River Valley Ranch
Sean's favorite golf course in the Roaring Fork Valley. Enjoy this 18 hole course with amazing views of Mt. Sopris. Located in carbondale 30 min north of Aspen. Twilight starts at 3pm and is $59 with a cart for those looking to save money.
Aspen Golf Club
The only public golf course in the town of Aspen. This 18 hole course has been rated one of the top municipal courses in the country.
Rent an E-bike and ride along the Rio Grande trail
Rent an E-Bike from one of the several places in Aspen or Snowmass Village and enjoy a relaxing bike ride along the Rio Grand trail or one of the several paved bike paths aspen has to offer.
