Jo and Maggie have known each other since 2019, first meeting in a social justice lecture series, and bonding over trips to their dining hall during fire drills while they lived in the same building. They moved in together in 2020, and moved to D.C together in 2022. They share a love of fiber arts, Jimmy Buffet, Dimension 20, and butter chicken. Jo is one of the most supportive, kindest, sweetest people Maggie has ever met and has become a permanent part of Maggie's family.
Connor Salvesen
Best Man
Connor and Sam met in 5th grade. They connected over being middle-round picks in pickup soccer on the playground, their questionable grade school crushes, and trash talking during church ball. They still love playing video games together, talking about basketball, playing TTRPGs, and soda.
Aly Sheehy
Bridesmaid
Aly and Maggie got close during the 2020 pandemic through March for Our Lives, where Maggie would host among us games and the MFOL official minecraft server. Aly and Maggie met the first time in person (that Maggie remembers, apparently they met in 2019 at a MFOL Summit) right when Sam and Maggie started talking. They share a love of crafting, gun violence prevention, DnD, and Hozier. Aly also drew the save the dates and wedding invitations! (She's literally so talented at everything she does).
Joseph Jakins

Joe and Sam met at summer camp after 5th grade, and they haven't matured much since. They got closer in high school, hanging out and playing video games. Though there's more physical distance between them they still share a love of playing video games together, TTRPGs, and listening to music. Joe is Sam's favorite D&D DM (don't tell Maggie).
Sophia Gucciardi

Sophia and Maggie met in 2018 in a sociology class they took as freshmen. They got closer junior and senior year where they'd get together for movie nights, Maggie's charcuterie boards, shopping at Concord Mills and DnD one shots. Maggie was a bridesmaid in Sophia's wedding in 2024. They share a love of dark humor, ironically watching PureFlix movies, and Taco Bell crunch wraps. (Sophia is also one of the funniest, smartest and most hard working people Maggie has ever met)
Mishaela Robison
Groomswoman
Mishaela and Sam met their freshman year of college. Mishaela pestered Sam freshman year as the dining hall ambassador, taking unflattering photos of him with PB&H sandwiches, and later terrorized him as his RA senior year, when she was constantly mooching off of him having a car. Despite Sam's best efforts, Mishaela's extreme kindness and warmth has meant they've stayed close through all of this, and her moving to DC was a key factor in Sam moving to the DMV, and therefore meeting Maggie. Mishaela has also grown very close to Maggie over the years, and would've been an additional bridesmaid if Sam hadn't asked her to be in his party.
Wyatt Patterson

Wyatt and Maggie met in 2020 during the pandemic through the March for Our Lives discord server while playing minecraft. They got to meet in person for the first time in 2022 right before Maggie moved to DC and have been able to regularly see each other once they were only a few hours drive away (thank you Wyatt for having a car) .They share a love of DnD, politics, and Taylor Swift! Wyatt is one of the most kind and supportive people in Maggie's life , supporting both Maggie's rights, and her wrongs.
