Since we are both golfers, it is only fitting we met at Prairie Green golf course! What started as small talk turned into a chipping game. Despite Ryan winning with a chip in, Maggie agreed to getting ice cream for our first date!

After numerous dates both in Sioux Falls and Vermillion (our college towns), we began dating in December of 2023. Ryan planned the most special day filled with cards games, USD football, and ended the night asking Maggie to be his girlfriend!

Similar to the day we met, the day we got engaged also involved golfing. We hit balls at Brandt Lake Country Club, followed by a sunset walk on the beach (not a golf bunker). While walking on the shoreline, Ryan dropped on one knee and asked Maggie the big question.
