Yes! Kids can stay in the bunks or with you at another location, but they are welcome at the camp all day and night!
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed (they will look the other way for Rugger as long as we pick up after him). There are a few dog day cares close to camp or you can look into Rover.com
If your invitation or RSVP page says "and guest", then yes. If not, we've got plenty of single friends
The Stockade is where the after-party is. There is room for 77 people in the lower cabins and another 80 in the upstairs level (which can be heated if necessary). There are also rustic cabins on the other side of the camp if you want more privacy and don't mind walking a short distance to the bathroom. All beds are twin bunks with thin foam mattresses and require you to bring your own bedding.
There is a flikr album in the Travel & Accommodations tab that has short videos of the Stockade Courtyard, one lower level cabin (the one with the ladders & chandelier thing), one upstairs cabin (can be heated), the fridge/indoor tables area, and the single and stalled bathrooms/showers. It's rustic but it's definitely not primitive. We won't be close to filling all the beds either, so you can probably stack mattresses for added comfort. If the videos don't work text one of us and we will send them via text
Bedding (sheets/blankets or sleeping bag), pillow, towel, toiletries
Obviously we are hoping for sunny, beautiful weather during the day. If it rains we have a beautiful rain location for the ceremony and the reception is indoors. Sources say it can get chilly by the cape in late May, so bring sweaters/jackets for the evening/night.
If you stayed overnight you can pop into town (about a mile away) to grab Panera, Chipotle, pizza, etc. There is also a Roche Bros grocery store. If you are arriving Sat morning, grab something on your way in. We may have snacks available, but we won't be providing a full meal until the reception around 6pm.
Unfortunately, no. There will be about an hour where we can canoe with camp staff supervising and if you fall in you won't contract any diseases (we hope), but they do not allow swimming.
Yes, absolutely. There are 20+ showers in the Stockade and even guests who do not plan to stay overnight can shower between falling in the lake or playing rugby and the ceremony.
