Skip Napa, Livermore Wine Country is much closer and more affordable! Maggie's brother Grant and sister-in-law Kim are members at Mitchell Katz. It's a great winery to take a picnic to and enjoy the tasting and an extra bottle or two of the rose! There are lots of other wineries to check out as well.
For those guests visiting from out of state, there is much to see and do in San Francisco. We recommend dining at Great Eastern for dim sum! Ren's has many fond memories of meals with this grandparents, you should try the mushroom, pork, and shrimp dumpling!
For those of you who want to get out an experience nature there are many local hikes to find on the All Trails website, or you can visit Mount Diablo State Park, known for its spectacular views from the summit which, on a clear day, extend over 100 miles in all directions!
