Maggie and Nolan met in March of 2018, after matching on a dating app. After a month and a half of talking on the phone and texting they decided to meet for the first time at a mini golf course in Boca. Maggie had been living in Boca Raton, FL for over a year attending FAU, while Nolan had moved to Fort Lauderdale just a few months prior to start his BMW career path. Although they had an instant connection, they decided after six months of dating to go separate ways to grow as individuals. A year later, after much thought and prayer, Nolan decided to text Maggie on her twenty-first birthday. They met a few days later for coffee and to catch up. After a few dates, and feeling as if no time had passed, they made their relationship official; and the rest is history.

In the summer of 2022, Nolan joined Maggie and her family on a trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Nolan, knowing Maggie's love for the Packers, realized this was the perfect opportunity to pop the question. After getting approval from both families, and a family engagement ring, Nolan knew this was the right choice. Since the beginning of Maggie and Nolan's relationship, Maggie always quoted the show Gilmore Girls "It's not a proposal unless there are a thousand yellow daises." Nolan thought out every possible way to propose with a thousand yellow daises, so he ordered a truck load to be delivered to the house in Wisconsin. The long-awaited tour of the stadium came, as Maggie's older brother swept her away to the pro shop, so Nolan and the rest of the family could set up all of the flowers. The family all met up shortly after and met their tour guide. The tour ended on the field right outside the tunnel, in the endzone. Nolan reached into his backpack and pulled out a single daisy, got down on one knee, and asked Maggie to be his wife. They continued the rest of their trip engaged, exploring all Green Bay had to offer.
