Can I explore The Henry Ford Museum during the wedding?

Answer

While the wedding festivities will be in a designated area, guests are welcome to explore all of the museum's exhibits during specific times.

Is there parking available at The Henry Ford Museum?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking available for guests. Visit THF.ORG/MUSEUM-PARKING for directions to the parking lot.

What is the recommended attire for the wedding?

Answer

What time do we need to arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before. The Museum will be closed to the public so please let them know you are here for the Trinka-Mitchell wedding if asked by the staff.

Dinner will be served around 8pm. Please plan accordingly for this

Do we need our ID's

Answer

Yes, guests must present an ID to be served alcohol. We ask that you provide IDs out of respect for The Henry Ford Museum's requirements. We appreciate your understanding!

Is The Henry Ford Museum accessible for guests with mobility challenges?

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and we are committed to making the event enjoyable for all guests. If you or your guests have specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can make necessary arrangements.

Can we visit The Henry Ford, Rouge Factory Tour, or Greenfield Village at other times during the wedding weekend?

Answer

YES! If you have time to visit the attractions, please do. Some attractions are only open at certain times, so please check their availability. We do have some coupons for guests to use. Family, contact Suzanne Trinka or Karen Mitchell to receive a copy of the coupon to use. Friends, contact Nick or Maggie to receive a copy of the coupon to use.

How do I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

RSVP instructions are included in your invitation. You can RSVP through our wedding website by navigating to the RSVP section.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions! Reach out or note it on the RSVP and let us know what you need, and we’ll see what we can do!

You can find the details on our “Registry” page. If ordering from our website, our address should be linked to it. If you would like to send something separate, reach out to us for the address to send it to.

Is the wedding an adults-only event, and should we plan for childcare?

Answer

While we adore children, we've decided to make this a adults-only celebration. Everyone listed on your invitation is who is invited to the wedding. We kindly request that you arrange for childcare during the event.
