We ask our guests to wear black-tie optional attire. For men, this means dark suits or tuxes. For ladies, we'd recommend floor-length gowns, pantsuits, or more formal dresses no higher than the knee. Keep in mind, our wedding ceremony will take place in a church.
These events are adult only. We love your kids, but you deserve a night off! Exceptions will be made for any breastfeeding mothers.
25-passenger shuttles will be running from the Farnam and Peregrine Hotels to and from the ceremony and reception. The shuttles will arrive at the front of each venue according to the following schedule: 1:30 PM Shuttles available to take guests to 2:00 PM ceremony at St. John's. Please utilize the shuttles that depart starting promptly at 1:30 PM to ensure there is sufficient seating on the shuttles and that you arrive on time for the ceremony! 3:15 PM Shuttles available to take guests back to hotels. 5:00 PM Shuttles available to take guests to 5:30 PM cocktail hour and reception at Leo Ballroom. 10:00 PM Shuttles available to take guests back to hotels on demand until 11:30 PM. The reception concludes at 11:00 PM.
For the ceremony at St. John's Catholic Church, you may park your car on the top level of the parking garage on the east side of 24th Street, between Cass Street and Burt Street. For the reception at the Leo Ballroom, there are two parking lots. The first lot is off 20th and Dodge Street, immediately west of the entrance to the venue. The second lot is off of Douglas Street, just west of 20th street.
There are no scheduled activities between the wedding and reception, so feel free to step out for a drink or head back to your hotel to kick your feet up. If you're looking for bar, restaurant, or other recommendations, take a peek at our "Things to Do" page!
