What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome Party: "Cocktail" attire will be most appropriate for this event. Typically, this is a (non-white) cocktail dress, sport coat, or suit with (or without) a tie. Wedding: "Formal" attire will be most appropriate for this event. Typically, this is a (non-white) floor-length or midi dress, a nice pantsuit, or a dark suit with a tie.

Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?

Answer

We decided to have an adult-only wedding (with the exception of immediate family). If you have a plus-one, it will be clearly stated on your invitation. Please refrain from bringing guests not named on your invitation.

Where Can I Park?

Answer

Welcome Party: We recommend taking Uber or Lyft. If you prefer to drive, there are plenty of paid parking lots nearby. Wedding: We recommend taking Uber or Lyft. If you prefer to drive, there is a free parking lot available at the venue. However, multiple events may be occurring on site, and we cannot 100% guarantee parking space for all.

Is There a Hotel Block?

You can now book a hotel room at The Drake under our room block. This includes a discounted rate. Please let us know if you don't see a room option that fits your needs, so we can look into a solution! https://book.passkey.com/go/CollinsBurgerWRB If you prefer to stay elsewhere, no problem! There are plenty of great options in Chicago and we're happy to provide personal recommendations if you'd like. These, unfortunately, will not include the room block discount offered at The Drake.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Official invitations will be sent August 2026. Please kindly RSVP by September 30th, 2026. That said, if you received our Save The Date and you already know you (or your plus one) won't be able to attend, please let us know at your earliest convenience.

What If I Arrive Late To The Ceremony?

Answer

Please don't!!!!!!!!!! But if you do, you'll be asked to wait in the lobby until after the ceremony :( We recommend arriving at 5 pm to enjoy the Cloudgate String Quartet before the ceremony begins.
