I'm planning to fly to the wedding. What airport is my best option?

Answer

Both a plus and a minus to Culpeper, there are several airport options available, however drive times to the hotel vary. We recommend renting a car, as opposed to Uber/Lyft if this is the route you take. Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport: CHO- 37 miles -Very easy drive with beautiful mountain views along the way Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport: DCA- 72 miles -Lots of flight/airline options as it's the main airport for DC. -The drive to Culpeper involves the infamous 66 highway, so depending on times, there may be traffic Dulles International Airport: IAD- 56 miles -Easier "Northern Virginia" drive with some congestion by the airport itself, then it's easier Richmond International Airport: RIC- 95 miles -Smaller airport but we use it a lot. The drive is either more challenging (I-95) or beautiful (64 and through Lake Anna). Let us know if you fly through here and we'll make sure you have the correct route

Are Uber/Lyfts available in Culpeper?

Answer

Yes and no. Uber/Lyft can be hit or miss. They may be available due to the 4th of July holiday, but they are not as frequently available as larger cities.
