Mark and Maggie’s story started the way a lot of great stories do — at a bar in Cleveland. Even though they both attended John Carroll University at the same time, somehow they never actually crossed paths. It took a group of mutual friends (and a little luck) to finally bring them together after college. Their first real connection? Discovering they were both Steelers fans living in Browns territory. Instant bond. Add in a shared love of Miller Lite, and things were basically meant to be. Over the last 3 ½ years, their relationship has been full of love, laughter, and learning to appreciate each other’s favorite things. Maggie has been doing her best to learn how to play golf with Mark — not very well, according to both of them — and thankfully Mark is a very patient teacher. Somewhere along the way, Maggie also convinced (or forced, depending on who you ask) Mark to run a half marathon, proving that love is all about support, encouragement, and occasionally making each other do things they never planned on doing. Between laughs, beers, race days, football Sundays, and countless memories together, their relationship grew naturally into the partnership they have today. After months of Maggie begging Mark to propose, she was completely surprised one day when he casually suggested they go for a walk. During that walk, Mark finally popped the question — and of course, she said yes. Now, they’re excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of the people they love most — preferably with good drinks, great music, and maybe a Steelers win.
