Maggie and Mark grew up only 5 miles apart in the Chicago suburbs, their childhoods running in parallel. Though they shared mutual friends and a large, loving Irish-Catholic family, it wasn’t until after college a formal introduction was made. Early dates were quickly followed by family weddings and Christmas vacations; surrounding themselves with new friends and family. Their relationship growing as both Maggie and Mark cherish their friends as family, with family being the foundation of all their strongest friendships. Luckily, Chicago hosted many McMahon and Dezell family members. Chicago is where Maggie and Mark evolved into adulthood and through their careers. Overlooking the north side, Mark proposed to Maggie on the London House rooftop. Chicago roots have extended out with their parents into Naples, Florida and Hilton Head, South Carolina. As entire family get togethers have surrounded these brief vacation times; Mark and Maggie both have found a true love for Hilton Head, and are excited to show their loved ones why it is so special to them.
