We met at Clague Middle School in 6th grade. Justin likes to think he knew right then and there (lies). We went on to become friends through middle school and then began dating in 8th grade. Lets just say it was like any other middle school relationship.. it did not last. After some brief time apart (but still texting of course), we became friends with some occasional flirting. However, we both went on to date other people until senior year of high school and then about 9 years later... he proposed..

We planned an RV trip throughout Arizona, making our way to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and then to Scottsdale. We planned a morning hike up cathedral rock, only to find out how afraid I actually am of heights. Little did I know Justin had planned a hike for later that day that was steep, so he had to switch around those plans after talking to some local shop owners and found a beautiful and secluded hike for that evening. He then asked me to go out on a cliff for a picture of us, to which I was like no way.. eventually I was convinced and then he popped the question and of course I said YES!
