What kind of weather should I expect during this time of year?

You can expect Florida to be very warm in May. Gainesville is also know as Rainesville so make sure to bring a rain jacket since it does rain most days.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at Sweetwater Branch Inn.

Is this an indoor or an outdoor wedding?

Weather permitting, it is an outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor reception.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures. Guests will stay at the venue and have light hors d'oeuvres.

Where do I park?

Answer

Sweetwater Branch Inn has two parking options. There is a lot located behind the building with 35 spaces. Sweetwater also has access to the Kirby Smith Center. This is located across University Avenue. This parking lot has 150 spaces.
