How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

MAY 21, 2 0 2 0 - A day I'll never forget...

If you know me and Joe, you know there is never a shortage of words🙊😙 and Joe knew that this day would be no different. If anything, this day would bring lots and lots of more words. So, Joe planned the first half of the day to talk, reflect, and process all that God has done!

With that came lots of laughing, several puddles of tears, and lots of praising God for every step of the journey. We went to different places around Birmingham that signified major moments in this our story. 

We started at Ruffner Mountain where he pulled out the first of the letters he wrote for each stop. We cried, prayed, and went on to the rest of the stops.

We went to BrickTops for lunch (our first date), his church, his old house, a friend's driveway, my front porch, and a garden. It was so sweet and intentional.

Finally, on an outdoor balcony overlooking our town, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. I said yes, & the rest is history!
