According to Georgia Outdoor News, the Toccoa River is one of the region's rivers that hold the characteristics required for anglers to find big trout. Serious trout fishermen know that there is serious trout fishing in Fannin County not only in the Toccoa, but in Rock Creek, Cooper Creek and Noontootla Creek.

Noontootla Creek Farms has an amazing sporting clays course that winds its way up to the top of the ridge where the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest is visible from every angle. Golf carts are used for transportation to all of the 14 stations. One hundred shots completes the course, or you can shoot as many as you please. Guns can be rented and instruction is available to those wanting to try this addicting sport.
