A few weeks leading up to the big day, Jason had prepped Maggie that they had a friend's birthday party on Saturday August 12th. She worked that day, so when she got home from work, he mentioned that everyone was "dressing up" for the big birthday party. Grumbling, Maggie put on a dress and heels and was ready to go. Jason said oh, by the way, Charlie needs to go outside -- let's take him for a walk! Jason (in his dress pants and dress shirt) wants to go outside (in the 95 degree weather) to take him for a "quick walk" before we leave for the birthday party. Maggie pouted on this one too, but soon enough was convinced to go for a "quick walk". We walked along the Scioto Mile which was our usual route. It was our most favorite Charlie walk ever. With the downtown skyline behind us, Jason got down on one knee! We even got a few pictures to remember this special day!
