Places to go (indoors!)

Art Institute of Chicago One of the best art museums in the world, filled with iconic pieces and beautiful galleries. It’s also right next to Millennium Park, making it easy to pair with a stroll nearby. Museum of Science and Industry Hands-on, interactive exhibits for all ages. This one’s easy to spend an entire afternoon exploring.

Places to Eat/Drink

Cindy’s Rooftop A favorite for a reason! Great food, great cocktails, and amazing views overlooking Millennium Park and the city skyline. River Roast A lively spot right along the Chicago River, serving elevated comfort food in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Pizzeria Portofino Casual, cozy Italian food on the river. Perfect for pizza, pasta, and a relaxed meal. Lou Malnati’s You can’t visit Chicago without deep-dish pizza. This is one of the city’s most iconic spots and a must-try for first-timers.
