Our story begins in August of 2020 when we matched on the dating app, Hinge. Besides his stunning good looks, Maggie was drawn to Eamon's witty sense of humor and Eamon was just flattered that an attractive girl matched with him. Eamon suggested they meet at Galway Arms, an Irish pub located in Lincoln Park, which was conveniently located right down the street from Maggie's apartment. This was perfect since Maggie tends to run late! As soon as we met each other, we felt an instant connection. Hours seemed to fly by as we sat outside on the patio and talked about everything we had in common, including attending University of Illinois at the same time, mutual friends and our love of all things Harry Potter and Guy Fieri. We were the last ones to leave Galway Arms that night and we both couldn't wait for our next date.

After closing down the patio at Galway Arms, we continued to get to know each other at some of our favorite places throughout the city, like Parson's, Siena Tavern, Ranalli's and Forno Rosso! We felt like we fit seamlessly into each other's lives and soon we were introducing eachother to all of our family and friends.

Almost 3 years later, Eamon proposed on a beautiful June afternoon at the North Pond in Lincoln Park. After the proposal, Eamon suggested that we celebrate at the place where it all began, Galway Arms. When we got there, Maggie was so surprised to find both of our families waiting there for us! We are so excited for what the future holds for us and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone by our side!
